About

Mudiad Meithrin aims to give every young child in Wales the opportunity to benefit from early years services and experiences through the medium of Welsh.

Quality Assurance

All Early Years and Childcare and Play settings should continually review the quality of their provision. Reflecting on provision and practice is a driver for continuous improvement. Taking part on one of the Cwlwm partner’s quality assurance schemes will help you to self evaluate your service and plan for improvement.

A quality mark will show parents and funders that you aim beyond the National Minimum Standard required for CIW registration and that you aspire to provide a high quality service where parents and families can feel confident in the learning and play opportunities offered.

- Safonau Serennog

It is important that Mudiad Meithrin cylchoedd provide a high quality service for small children and their families so that these children are afforded an opportunity to develop to their full potential.

The purpose of Safonau Serennog is to set out accessible aims and actions that all cylchoedd meithrin can aim at achieving. It offers a structure so that committees and staff can evaluate their services objectively. The Mudiad urges every cylch to register on this important scheme. The scheme meets Welsh Government’s quality standards.
