Quality Assurance

All Early Years and Childcare and Play settings should continually review the quality of their provision. Reflecting on provision and practice is a driver for continuous improvement. Taking part on one of the Cwlwm partner’s quality assurance schemes will help you to self evaluate your service and plan for improvement.

A quality mark will show parents and funders that you aim beyond the National Minimum Standard required for CIW registration and that you aspire to provide a high quality service where parents and families can feel confident in the learning and play opportunities offered.

- Quality for All (QfA)

Quality for All

New, revised QfA coming in 2022!

Quality for All (QfA) is a quality assurance scheme that fully meets the Welsh Government’s proposed framework for their expectations of a childcare quality assurance scheme in Wales.

It builds on how you reflect on, review and develop your provision at a pace that suits you and your staff team. QfA links to the demands made on you by regulators and local authorities so it can reduce duplication of your work, allowing you to make best use of your resources.
