What is the Quality Comes Home Award?
A national, Wales specific quality award available to all childcarers that fully meets the Welsh Government’s proposed framework for their expectations of a childcare quality assurance scheme in Wales. Attaining the award will help childcarers raise the standards and quality of the service they provide while promoting and supporting their professionalism and personal development. The Quality Comes Home Award has been designed to meet the needs of childcarers and their stakeholders, including children and families and local authorities. Based on the key principles from across Wales including UNCRC and the Foundation Phase, the award has been approved by the Welsh Government.
