Mae chwarae yn angen ac yn hawl i bob plentyn. Mae amgylcheddau chwarae o ansawdd a gynigir gan leoliadau gofal plant yn cefnogi datblygiad seicolegol, cymdeithasol, gwybyddol a chorfforol plant. Mae hefyd yn cefnogi eu hiechyd meddyliol a’u lles.  Gall lleoliadau gofal plant helpu ein plant i wella a ffynnu drwy Covid-19 ac maent hefyd yn hanfodol ar gyfer ein hadferiad economaidd cenedlaethol. Yn awr yn fwy nag erioed, mae angen i Gymru gefnogi’r sector gofal plant er mwyn sicrhau y gall ein cymunedau barhau i elwa o’r cyfan sydd ganddi i’w gynnig. Play is a need and right for all children. Quality play environments offered by childcare settings support children’s psychological, social, cognitive and physical development. It also supports their mental health and wellbeing. Childcare settings can help our children to recover and to thrive through Covid-19 and are also are essential for our national economic recovery.
