Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin

Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin will encourage the availability of bi-lingual childcare choices in areas where this is not available at present. Click here for more information.

National Childminding Association

The purpose of NCMA’s work in CWLWM is to consider how to better support Welsh language and bilingual childminders in Wales, and how to support more childminders to provide services through the medium of Welsh. Click here for more information.

National Day Nurseries Association

The purpose of NDNA Cymru’s work in CWLWM is to support the workforce development needs of the sector, and raise the profile of childcare as a profession. Click here for more information.

Play Wales

Play Wales will develop, pilot and evaluate the content of induction, level 2 and level 3 training in Playwork. They will develop methodology and infrastructure for sustainable delivery, exploring ways for encouraging men into the sector. They will look at a variety of delivery methods, including distance learning which they will pilot and evaluate. They will develop an accessible introduction to play and playwork designed to draw new workers into the sector. Click here for more information.

Playwork Partnerships

The purpose of Playwork Partnerships’ work in CWLWM is to extend the range of training opportunities for playworkers in Wales, and to increase confidence and skills in facilitating children’s outdoor play. Click here for more information.

University of Gloucestershire

The University's involvement focuses on the management and monitoring of partnership finance and activities, and coordination of the transnational work. The University will take an overview of the project and coordinate equal opportunities, dissemination and mainstreaming work of the partnership. Click here for more information.

Wales Pre-school Playgroups Association
